Truck and Wheel Automotive USA Corporation, Vance, AL. IT & Cybersecurity Specialist. Responsible for protecting the company’s digital assets, infrastructure, and data from cyber threats. Implement and maintain security measures, monitor security incidents, respond to breaches, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Provide technical support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all departments. Support the company’s ERP and WMS, alongside hardware, software, networking, and security systems. Safeguard manufacturing operations, intellectual property, customer data, and overall business continuity within the automotive sector. Implement and manage security controls and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, EDR solutions, and SIEM systems. Monitor security systems and analyze logs to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activity. Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, network, and application issues, both remotely and on-site. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to the IT manager or external support as needed. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals), OSs, and software applications. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and other relevant systems. Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Perform regular system maintenance, including software updates, patching, and backups. Provide training and guidance to end-users on proper use of hardware and software. Manage and maintain inventory of IT assets. Requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in an IT & Cybersecurity Specialist role or related occupation in the automotive industry. Requires knowledge and experience with OS security, including Windows and Linux; scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation; troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues; Active Directory user and group management; networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP; and desktop and server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
